Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP)

Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP) provides funds for intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services and related assistance for adults, youth, and children who are exposed to or collaterally affected by sexual assault.

Currently, twelve community-based domestic and sexual violence programs across the state of Idaho have received funding from the State Formula SASP grant to expand their capacity to provide compassionate support to those exposed to sexual assault.

Idaho’s sexual programs are implementing innovative strategies such as yoga, book clubs, art therapy, movement therapy, journaling, and support groups to provide those who have experienced sexual assault with opportunities for healing.

Building Capacity

The Idaho Coalition in partnership with the Idaho State Police Grants & Research works to build the capacity of Idaho’s domestic and sexual violence programs to increase effectiveness of intervention, advocacy, accompaniment, support services and related assistance for individuals exposed to sexual assault.
