From the Airport

Head west on West Airport Way toward South Owyhee Street.

Use the left 2 lanes to turn left on West Airport Way.

Keep right to continue toward West Airport Way, turn right onto West Airport Way.

Continue straight onto South Vista Avenue, then turn right onto West Kootenai Street then turn left onto South Lincoln Avenue, the SUB will be on your right.

From I-84 West

Use the left 3 lanes to take exit 49 for I-184 toward 49

Keep left to stay on Exit 49, follow signs for interstate 184/City Center

Continue onto US-20 E/US-26 E

Turn right onto S 9th St

Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto West University Drive

Then the SUB will be on your left.

From I-84 East

Take exit 54 for US-20/US-26/Broadway Ave

Turn left onto West Boise Avenue

Turn right onto South Lincoln Avenue

Then the SUB will be on your right

Parking

FREE parking is available at the Lincoln Garage at 1700 W University Drive, Boise ID 83706. Please let the Lincoln Garage attendant know you are with the Collective Thriving conference to gain admission to the parking structure.

If you arrive between 7:00am and 9:30am, your car will be counted by the attendant and no further action is needed form you. Park and come on in!

If you arrive after 9:30am, please follow the instructions below:

  1. You may park on any floor but need to make note of your license plate number before going to the payment machines.
  2. Find the parking payment machine on your floor (near the northwest stairwell)
  3. Enter your license plate number
  4. Select 1) Purchase Ticket
  5. Select 3) Day Rate $20.00 (You will not be charged for parking).
  6. Enter the number “1” and press the OK button.
  7. Select “Yes” when asked “Do you have a coupon”
  8. Type in your coupon code: 70206215 and press OK to continue.
  9. You’re done! Don’t forget to take your receipt with you!

Lunch

Lunch will be provided on both days of the conference. All dietary accommodation requests submitted when registering will be met.

All room reservations must be made by Friday, November 15th, 2019. Accessible hotel rooms are available at the Residence Inn.

The consumption of pornography can be directly linked to gender violence. To that end, the Idaho Coalition is engaging in conversations with local hotels to disable contracts with certain Pay Per View providers. Ground Transportation

Springhill Suites offers complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Please call 208-342-1044 to arrange pick up from the airport.

Springhill Suites also offers free shuttle service within a 5-mile radius. Please schedule a shuttle ride with the front desk from/to the conference, and for evening excursions.

Idaho Coalition Tribal and Community Domestic & Sexual Violence Program Members Travel

The Idaho Coalition will cover lodging expenses for up to four tribal and community advocates per program to attend from outside the Boise area depending on the number of staff employed by your program.

For tribal or community programs with less than 10 full time staff, the Idaho Coalition will pay for actual cost incurred for:

  • Registration fees and meal reimbursements (per diem) for up to two staff members
  • One hotel room
  • Mileage for one vehicle OR up to two airline tickets

For programs with more than 10 full time staff, we can pay for:

  • Registration fees and meal reimbursements (per diem) for up to four staff members
  • Two hotel rooms
  • Mileage for two vehicles OR up to four airline tickets

We encourage you to ride together and share hotel rooms to allow as many advocates to attend as possible.

On Thursday, December 5th we will be having our Annual Meeting as part of the luncheon program.

A credit card is required to hold the hotel reservation; however, the charge will be switched to the Idaho Coalition master account prior to any charges being incurred. Cancellation: Absent exceptional circumstances, programs will be charged for the hotel and meal costs associated with any staff cancellations made after November 27, 2019 at 5 p.m. MST.

Social Worker CEUs

This program has been approved for 30.25 hours for LSW level, 24 hours for LMSW level and/or 2.5 hours at the LCSW-Clinical level by the National Association of Social Workers-Idaho Chapter, and may be applied toward the continuing education requirements for social work license renewal.
